Regional Development Director
I serve as Director of Regional Development at the Regional Council of Southwest Finland. In my daily work, I promote issues that strengthen the vitality and competitiveness of Southwest Finland together with a multidisciplinary team and a wide range of stakeholders. National and EU funding programmes serve as important tools for regional development.
I am responsible for the operations of the Regional Cooperation Group (MYR), under which the Business Committee, Climate Responsibility Committee, NGO Committee, Education Committee, Rural Affairs Committee and the MYR Secretariat operate.
I work in close cooperation with member municipalities, public authorities, businesses and other regional stakeholders across Southwest Finland.
