The regional land use plan phase addresses the use of natural resources from the perspective of circular economy and bioeconomy, the preservation of valuable natural areas, and the protection of recreational areas in the region. The plan integrates these themes into a mutually supportive whole.
The need to examine the use of natural resources has arisen particularly due to the objectives of increasing the use of renewable energy and circular economy. The plan identifies areas important for biodiversity and ecological networks. The existence of functional and comprehensive recreational routes and areas is one of the key prerequisites for a pleasant living environment and part of the regional tourism industry.
The material includes the plan map, appendix maps, and the current comprehensive regional land use plan.
