Funding portfolios make funding visible
Dividing funding into portfolios is one way to monitor the implementation of the regional program’s objectives and measures. Portfolios make funding visible and support mutual cooperation among authorities regarding the allocation of funding. When examining portfolios, it is important to note the following:
- The portfolios contain funding decisions for the 2021-2027 funding period directed to Varsinais-Suomi.
- The portfolios do not include the smallest granted funding amounts (EMFAF: under €5,000; rural development project funding: under €8,000; rural business support: under €10,000).
- The monetary sum provided by the portfolios is cumulative and indicative. Precise information on funding granted by each program is always provided by the respective funding authority.
- The portfolios present the amount of funding granted in the original decision. Information is not updated following possible amendment decisions. In addition to granted funding, projects generally have their own funding available.
- Portfolio selection is made by the funding authority according to the theme considered primary. In some cases, funding may be divided between two portfolios.
- Portfolios are updated approximately 3-4 times per year. Project listings are updated several times per year.
